Perim ("Perimenopause Tracker") is built privacy-first. Your health is personal, and your data stays that way. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information.

1. What we collect

Nothing leaves your device. Perim does not require an account, login, or email to use. Your daily check-ins — including hot flashes, night sweats, sleep, mood, notes, food, and movement entries — are stored locally on your device only.

• We do not collect, request, or transmit your health data to our servers.
• We do not sell or share your data with data brokers or advertisers.
• We do not use your data to train AI or machine-learning models.
• Your check-ins are never associated with any personally identifiable information.

2. Apple Health

Perim does not connect to Apple Health. If a future version adds an optional Apple Health integration, it will be clearly labeled, require your explicit permission, and Health data will never be used for ads or shared with third parties. This policy will be updated before any such feature ships.

3. Local storage & security

• Check-in data is stored locally with file protection enabled on your device.
• We do not sync or back up your entries to our servers.
• Your entries are included in your normal device and iCloud device backups, which are controlled by you in iOS settings.

4. Subscriptions

Perim offers an optional auto-renewing subscription and a one-time lifetime option, handled entirely by Apple through your App Store account. We never see or store your payment details. Subscription management, including cancellation, is done in your Apple ID settings.

5. Support requests

If you contact us through the support page, you choose what to share. Any details you provide (such as an email for us to reply to) are used only to answer your request.

6. Children

Perim is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13.

7. How to delete your data

Because your data lives on your device, you can remove it at any time by using the in-app "Export & delete" option or by deleting the app. Uninstalling Perim removes your local check-in history from the device.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
