1. Acceptance of terms

By downloading or using Maxilla, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. What Maxilla is — and is not

Maxilla is a personal wellness, fitness, and self-improvement app for looksmaxing. It is not a medical, dental, or cosmetic device and does not diagnose, treat, monitor, or cure any condition. Any analysis, scores, routines, food ideas, or grooming tips are general information only and are not a substitute for professional advice. Always consult a qualified professional about your health, skin, or dental care.

3. Your data

• When you choose to use the face rating feature, the captured camera image may be transmitted to a contracted third-party image-analysis provider solely to generate and return an estimated face rating.
• No name, email address, account identifier, or other direct contact information is attached to the image. Neither we nor the provider retain the submitted photo after processing or use it for model training, advertising, or profiling.
• Maxilla uses Apple's TrueDepth API together with ARKit only to display a real-time 3D facial outline while the camera is active. We do not collect, store, retain, transmit, or share any TrueDepth, facial geometry, depth, or facial mesh data.
• The camera image sent for an estimated face rating is processed independently of Apple's TrueDepth API. No TrueDepth or ARKit facial geometry data is transmitted to the third-party image-analysis provider.
• Analysis results, routines, and progress entries may be stored locally on your device.
• Our data practices are described more fully in our Privacy Policy.
• You are responsible for your device backups; we cannot recover data from a lost or reset device.

4. Subscriptions & payment

• Maxilla offers an optional auto-renewing subscription and a one-time lifetime purchase.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• Auto-renewing subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID account settings.
• Prices may vary by region and are shown in the app before purchase.

5. Acceptable use

• You agree to use Maxilla only for lawful, personal purposes.
• You must only scan photos of yourself, or of people who have given you permission.
• You must not attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or interfere with the app.
• You must not use the app to distribute malware or harmful content.

6. Intellectual property

Maxilla and its original content, features, and design remain the exclusive property of Flag Apps and its licensors.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, nor that any analysis or insight provided is complete or accurate for your situation.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Flag Apps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app.

9. Changes to these terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users in advance.
