YouTube Remove Watched Videos and Mixes ("the extension") is built to do one thing: hide videos you have already watched, as well as Mixes, from your YouTube feed so it is easier to browse. This policy explains, in plain terms, how the extension treats your information.

The short version

We do not collect, read, store, transmit, sell, or share any of your personal data. The extension has no accounts, no analytics, and no servers. Everything it does happens locally, in your own browser, on your own device.

None. The extension does not collect or read any personal or identifiable information. Specifically, we do not collect:

• Your YouTube account, watch history, or login credentials.

2. How the extension works

The extension runs entirely inside your browser. It looks at the YouTube page you are currently viewing and simply hides videos that YouTube itself has marked as watched, along with Mixes, from the layout. This processing is performed on your device in real time and nothing leaves your browser as a result.

3. Data storage

The extension does not maintain any external database. Any settings you choose (for example, whether hiding is turned on) are stored locally in your browser using the standard browser storage available to extensions, and are never sent anywhere. You can clear them at any time by removing the extension.

4. Third parties

We do not share any information with third parties, because we do not have any of your information to share. The extension makes no requests to our servers, contains no third-party trackers or advertising, and does not sell or transfer data to anyone.

5. Permissions

Any browser permissions the extension requests are used solely to hide watched videos and Mixes on YouTube pages. They are never used to read, collect, or transmit your personal data.
